We strongly recommend to download and install the latest Device Updater from our Drivers & Other Files page in order to avoid possible functionality issues.
#TRAKTOR S2 UPDATE#
Most of the devices listed below offer a Device Updater to update the firmware installed on your device. This article provides a workaround to continue the use of MK1 devices on macOS 10.12 (through 10.14). The earlier MK1 versions are therefore not officially supported on macOS 10.12 (or higher). #TRAKTOR S2 DRIVER#
Devices labeled MK2 (or MK3) are later-generation models that run on class-compliant driver technology. If a device is not listed below, this means it is not supported by macOS systems. These devices do not require a driver installation and work simply by connecting them to the computer. Only current generation class-compliant devices are supported in macOS systems. #TRAKTOR S2 FULL#
We will continue to conduct systematic tests with macOS 12 Monterey to offer full compatibility of our software and hardware products as soon as possible.
Find more info in the Apple Silicon (M1 / M2) Compatibility News. Our products are not yet compatible with the MacBook M1 Max / Pro / M2. All of our products can be activated, installed, and updated using Native Access, which will run on the latest generation of Apple Silicon (M1) computers via Apple's automatic translation environment Rosetta 2. This includes MASCHINE MK1, MASCHINE MIKRO MK1, AUDIO 2 / 4 / 8 DJ, TRAKTOR AUDIO 2 MK1, and TRAKTOR KONTROL S2 / S4 / X1 MK1. The same applies to macOS 11 (Big Sur) and macOS 12 (Monterey). macOS 10.15 (Catalina) terminated the operability of some NI legacy hardware. All products listed here require the latest update from Native Access, as well as the latest version of macOS 12 (Monterey). Other Native Instruments software and hardware products are not currently supported on macOS 12 Monterey. These hardware devices run without issues on macOS 12 Monterey: Hardware Product * The KOMPLETE EFFECTS are: Driver, Premium Tube Series (Enhanced EQ, Passive EQ, Vari Comp), Reverb Classics (RC24, RC48), Solid Mix Series (Solid Bus Comp, Solid EQ, Solid Dynamics), Vintage Compressors (VC 160, VC 2A, VC 76), Supercharger, Supercharger GT, Transient Master.

The products that are natively compatible with Apple Silicon do not require Rosetta.Īpple Silicon Compatibility Status of NI Products. Please note however that we are not yet able to offer technical support for products installed in this way, with the exception of those listed below.
